Dick O'Brien is a journalist based in Dublin, Ireland. He is currently the editor of Signal magazine. He has also written for the Sunday Business Post, the Irish Independent, the Sunday Independent, the Evening Herald, the Sunday Tribune,and Business Plus. Before embarking on his career as a journalist he briefly worked for both Dublin City Council and the Department of Agriculture. A native of the city, he holds a degree in English and Philosophy from Trinity College, Dublin. When he isn't writing Dick enjoys reading fiction, drinking coffee and smoking cigarettes, preferably simultaneously.



Jon Ihle is a freelance journalist based in Greystones, Co, Wicklow, Ireland. His work has appeared in Business and Finance, Business Ireland, Dublin Review, The Irish Independent, Irish Runner, Badaboom Gramaphone  and Fast Forward.  Hilariously, he has also worked as a social research consultant, a bagel baker, a mapmaker and a chemistry lab assistant. Originally from Long Island, NY, Jon is a graduate of Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY, and holds an MA in English from Temple University in Philadelphia.



Patrick Freyne is a bard and man of letters. He lives with his woman, his demented brother and a great white she-cat.

Diana Pérez García:
is a native of Madrid, although she has lived in Ireland for many years. She holds a B.A. in English and Linguistics and an M.A. in Anglo-Irish Literature. She works as a translator and teacher. She likes the movies, books, and books about the movies. She believes that anger is a great political motivator.


Ben Good grew up in Bray and Dublin and is now living in London. For reasons too boring to go into here, "Ben Good" is a pseudonym. It's been alleged that Ben practices both medicine and Judaism without a licence.
